Congratulating On Marriages

The Queen of Hell Othenin-Dominique Girard (USA - 1990)

Surely some of you the name Lilith will not say anything. Briefly: that evil is a goddess in Mesopotamian religion is associated with the storm. According to some sources (from which the film draws pretext to revive the charm of the character) was the first woman to Adam, it is said that after he left the Garden of Eden. Symbolizing lust, sin and death steriminatrice. If you want to call it in the manner of one of the film's characters: the whore of the devil.

Small preamble only because the film in question is one of the few dedicated to this dark character. As well as the equally nebulous, it seems being the distribution in Italy of this Night Angel , limited to several copies in VHS and with the title (as amended but unusually guessed) ' The Queen of Hell' .

Night Angel is the son of the first year of the decade, perhaps the blackest of horror films (or at least, the most lifeless). Those "ninety" which seemed to have calmed some desire to take risks, a desire for exaggeration and for the experts is a prerogative that should never fail. Do not miss the beautiful exceptions. Among others, authors such as John Carpenter or Brian Yuzna with gems like that In the Mouth Of Madness ( the Mouth of Madness) and The Return of the Living Dead III claimed gender and avoided a final tumble.

Night Angel, to the substance of things, symbolizes a little good morning that we perceive in the morning and do not bode well.

The plot sees the demon Lilith to party with the governing bodies (male) drawing of a fashion magazine to get a first page and become the new female image of the complex. To do with luring sensual destination for their increasingly brutal.

Recalling that we are anything but memorable un'operina before we can say that the only element that attracted my attention was the perceived ability / skill of the director in being able to create a dark fairly effective. Someone, arming prior written down, probably will define the faux outrageous, but it will hit the pivot of the question that is stored elsewhere. According to the first part you can feel the atmosphere suitable to reconstruct the part of an office of a hypothetical fashion lustful Dante's circle, aesthetically the overlapping of alternating good "femme fatale / Lady Death" regularly engaged in by Lilith (Isa Jank a beautiful and breathtaking), its dual game seduction / death which can involve. Also an important part of the legendary Karen Black ( Trilogy of Terror ) plunges us into an air far more familiar and less alien. But the film stumbles in the long run, svaccando altogether when playing the card game of the bad guy, becoming repetitive and confusing. So that, if what we saw earlier could be nice, hence the time spent making the remaining minutes more and more unnerving. Dwelling on obscure points of the script not resolve and would fill too many defects in the film. There are many explanations are missing, especially on the character of Lilith same number of points that they deserved to be better focused and instead are left to die. But in spite of a final so walking is a good first half hour that is well worth a viewing.

For those who do not want to miss any seed planted by the horror genre in recent years.

Can I Take Ambesol For Tooth Ache When Pregnant?

Paranormal Entity Shane Van Dyke (USA - 2009)

The film tells the story of the Finley family: Ellen, a widow who lives with his two sons Thomas and Samantha. A series of dark events of an unknown entity convince his brother to place cameras everywhere, to understand what is happening between those walls and keep the situation under control ... But that does nothing but trigger unknown entity ...

The Asylum is a production company awarded the degree in the remake of the blockbuster best-known. The guidelines for the creation of these 'creatures' are simple: choose a hit at the box office ( Transformer , Cloverfield, I Am Legend ), shuffle the cards and at very short notice, using flimsy budget, films that bring out their dignity, while also taking the distance from the original. They are so light the infamous mockbuster (Transmorphers, Monster, I Am Omega). However, there are plans to list free of any derivative matrix, at least as a source of inspiration, as 100 Feet of Eric Red or King of the Ants of absolute genius Stuart Gordon. If the results are almost always disastrous but this time the outcome is satisfactory, bearing in mind a number of assumptions: the insufficiency of the means employed almost reduced to zero, the limited time that was shot ( only two days!) and a script full of inconsistencies that the movie clip the wings for most of his life, except to explode into a crescendo of tension in the beautiful dark shades final: dramatic, desperate, authentic.
Two are the strengths on which to decide leverage: the ability to power in being able to create scenes of terror which catch the viewer in what, ultimately, are moments of stillness. Nothing happens, the fixed camera paints a portrait of daily life seemingly quiet, but that's where lies the crux of success. In almost all the horror on invisible entities, to startle and scare it will take the special moment, the sound that goes crazy and all jump off the chair. Paranormal Entity, in contrast, played by leveraging aspects of a routine that slowly reveals itself the bearer of discomfort, fear and despair. The second reason for the success of film written, directed and starring Shane Van Dyke indeterminability is the threat that haunts the protagonists ... A bad site in the deepest depths of the home, the unknown, intangible but omnipresent. And all the wise actions of the joint director of photography ( Akis Konstantakopoulos ) and placed in dark rooms greenish lights - which could to symbolize a threat alien, demonic, otherworldly - gives the right amount of suspense to the whole.
I am not going to criticize the operation to be his 'clone' of Paranormal Activity, as, the history of horror shows, everything is a continuous recycling with which we must live with. Any 'The Hills Have Eyes' of Alexandre Aja has much more in common with the Wrong Turn of Rob Schmidt instead of conl'originale Wes Craven, which purports to to be valid. But no one dares to impale this to the director of High Tension ... In this case, change the title is an excuse to hide the matrix derivative of the plot. That's it. Paranormal Entity, as well as all the productions Asylum projects and make things clear right away. Situations such as block buster dall'incasso safe from which it draws, but that developments and follow different paths.

worthy of attention even the characterization of Samantha, played by a talented Erin Marie Hogan , which gives credibility to his character that makes use of gradual changes in relation the evolution of the story and aspects of the film. First class snob sister, heedless of everything that happens in the home, and later able to be able to pass a glance or by a cold expression in his eyes the anguish experienced by the protagonist, his slow death, the relentless torment. That inability to react, that sense of loss before malignant entity - that strikes the viewer as well - his character is the strong point of Paranormal Entity. If managed well and will carefully choose future projects, Erin Marie Hogan in my opinion is destined for great things in the world of cinema. The start bodes well. For the rest good movie mockumentary genre that he was among the best and we recommend a viewing.

Pressure Point On Ankle To Start My Period

Dr. Moreau's House Of Pain by Charles Band (USA - 2004)

Distraught by the kidnapping of his brother - a hostage of Dr. Moreau - the boxeuer Eric Carson went to the private clinic for his release. There will be hounded by an army of creatures, men actually genetically modified and the features of animals in the intentions of the diabolical doctor will be used to populate the world ...

Sometimes, they are amazing and biblical insights for productions playing cards right now. Their nakedness appears sincerely to the audience that the expectation iperbolizzerĂ  dreaming of being in your hands the ultimate horror, but a low budget movie with the usual archetypes 'charlesbandiani' (puppets and tits) at the helm the ship en route to the faffing around. The circus in question is none other than a recent transposition of the famous novel by HG Wells " The island of dr. Moreau." Charles Band in the control room and the 'actual John Carl Beuchler ( Troll, Friday 13 - The New Blood ) alternate with good special effects department to incredible inventions fall-style special effects . We are in the presence of the classic prototype of home video film that offers little reason to leave interest remember. Alea tracta east then, but a pleasant jazz score, splatter scenes and many full-nude Lorelle of New (Grindhouse , Postal , Black Dalhia ) call and invite you - armed with patience - to put an end to the vision. Obvious and pretentious attempts to fill 90 minutes of footage, but from this angle, do not forget that the series of Evil Deacadent raschierĂ  will further the fund. Interesting, though not exceptional, the creatures make UPE ( one is very similar to tarantolata Regan of " The Exorcist").
's your choice whether to give a chance to agonize or leave this curious hybrid oblivion.
